LaunchPad's deployment process was a manual nightmare: SSH into servers, pull code, run migrations, restart services. Deploys took 45 minutes, happened only twice a week, and frequently caused incidents. There were no automated tests or rollback procedures.
We implemented GitHub Actions CI/CD with automated linting, unit tests, integration tests, and security scanning. Docker containers ensure environment parity. Deploys to staging are automatic on PR merge; production deploys require one-click approval with automatic rollback on health check failures.
